Foundation to confident designer

Want to turn your creative energy into professional work you can show to clients and employers? In 6 months you’ll master the essentials of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, plus Figma for modern UI thinking. You’ll learn design principles (typography, color, composition), build real-world projects, and graduate with a portfolio that proves your skills. We also integrate smart AI workflows to speed up ideation and production—without losing quality.

  • Design fundamentals: typography, color, layout, grid systems, visual hierarchy.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud: practical workflows in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (CC).

  • Figma mindset: frames, components, styles—thinking in systems and reusable patterns.

  • Editorial & brand basics: from moodboard to layout, from logo assets to brand templates.

  • Production for print & digital: export, preflight, file hygiene, handoff.

  • AI as a co-pilot: research, variant exploration, content drafts, and visual concepting—used responsibly.

What you’ll build

  • A cohesive portfolio with 2–3 complete case studies (concept → process → result).

  • Brand kit assets (logo variations, color system, type styles, templates).

Duration, structure & study load

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Class rhythm: 1× per week (live, online)

  • Study load: 3–5 hrs/week (incl. assignments & feedback)

  • Structure (high level):

    • Phase 1–2: Design principles + Photoshop/Illustrator essentials

    • Phase 3–4: InDesign, editorial layout, grid systems, print/digital production

    • Phase 5–6: Figma thinking, design systems, portfolio sprint + exam prep


Entry requirements

  • HBO-level thinking (or equivalent)

  • Basic computer skills

  • No prior Adobe/Figma experience required

  • Language: English (tools/resources may be mixed EN/NL)

Exam & diploma

  • You’ll receive a Diploma after the (comprehensive) exam with portfolio presentation.

  • If you skip the exam, you’ll receive a Certificate of Attendance.

No. We start at the foundation and build up quickly with lots of practice and feedback.

2) How much time per week should I plan?

Expect 1 live class per week plus 3–5 hours for assignments and portfolio work.

3) Will I receive a diploma?

Yes, after the comprehensive exam with portfolio presentation. If you choose not to take the exam, you’ll receive a Certificate of Attendance.

4) Which software/licenses do I need?

Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. You can start with trials; we advise on affordable options and setup.

5) Is this course fully in English?

Yes. Teaching, feedback and materials are in English. We welcome international students.
